Decision Making for Results: Data Teams provides principals and leadership teams tools needed to analyze a variety of data and use that analysis to get the student results you want. TIDES is trilled to sponsor the Data Team workshop offered by the Leadership and Learning Center.

Student learning improves when teachers use formative assessments to set learning goals, track progress and provide feedback.
Formative Assessment demonstrates the power and importance of assessment literacy as a driver of student learning and increased performance. Through pre-post formative assessments teachers have accurate, in-time data to adjust instruction to ensure student mastery of priority standards. Participants learn how to design and use a variety of quick pre-post assessments as well as how to give feedback that motivates students to do their best.

Standardized tests do not tell the whole story. Are you ready to determine how well your students have met new Common Core standards with performance tasks?
Authentic Performance Tasks provides the information and tools district and school leaders need to be ready for the Common Core State Standard assessments. Performance task will help provide a more accurate picture of what students know and are able to do. This workshop builds on the Formative Assessment workshop and goes to the next level of designing performance tasks and the rubrics needed to assess proficiency.
